As a teenager, very few actually understand the value of fitness. Many teenagers do not like the idea of giving up their favorite junk food or giving up on drinks, many don't prefer keeping a schedule for food and snacks. SET YOUR GOAL

As a teenager, setting your goal is very important in all aspects, may it be studies or fitness, you need to set a goal and achieve it. Your goals can be in the form of walking for 15 minutes, running for 10 minutes, doing 10 push-ups etc. Set a goal, achieve it and keep improving every day.



DO EXERCISES THE RIGHT WAY

There are many articles on top fitness tips, best exercises etc and many of them are helpful too however, if you don't understand the right form for a particular exercise and continue doing it, you may not benefit from that exercise, also you may end up with some injury or body pain post workout.



KNOW YOUR LIMITS

Many teenagers want results very quickly and they take the wrong advice from the wrong people and end up lifting heavier than they should. It is very important to know your limits when it comes to weights, reps and rest. If you lift 10 kilos on day 1, don't jump to 20 on day 2, go step by step. If you do 15 reps on day 1, don't try 30 on day 2. If you're told to rest for 60 seconds after workout, don't start the next workout after 30 seconds of rest. Be patient and don't over exert yourself, avoid any chance of breakdown. Go step by step and you'll get your reward.



FOCUS ON YOUR ENTIRE BODY

A very important tip for all teenagers, most teenagers nowadays only workout for abs, chest and biceps and completely ignore the lower body and some other muscle groups. Avoid doing this, workout for your entire body. Don't end up with a huge upper body and a tiny lower body.



GIVE IMPORTANCE TO DIET

Diet is a crucial part of your fitness and eating the right things at the right time is very important. If you eat the right things at the wrong time, it may not be really effective. Don't cheat on your diet, seek help from professionals and follow a good diet plan.
